Medical camp

God is all the time and all the time God is good. I know that this pandemic has been here for more than a year now and we have seen many of our friends and family suffer from it. The great thing about knowing God is that we have hope in difficult situation. We know that there is a God who cares for us and loves us so much.

Our Aim as followers of Christ must be to reach out to the lost and show the love of Jesus to them. Some of our friends planned to reach the community by conducting a one day Medical camp.

What we do is we get some doctors from the city to help see patients. We also have many volunteers who help. We have four stations set up on the campus.

1.       Registration counter ( we get their basic info and their medical records)

2.       Blood pressure and Sugar level checkup.

3.       Doctor visit

4.       Pharmacy

All the Doctors and volunteers work the whole day form 9 am to 5 pm. After few weeks we go back and try meeting with the patients and spending some time with them. We meet them to find out how they are doing and are they feeling any better.

The reason we do this to help them with their physical health. We also share our story with them of how “the TRUTH” has set us free. How it is not only important to have good physical health but also to have a good spiritual health. Most of them listen well and understand. We have had great conversations.

When the son of God was here on the earth we know that his aim was to seek and to save the lost. We believe that this is passed down to us as followers of Him.

Due to the pandemic we have not done medical camp in a very long time but now we are finally able to do one. When this pandemic is fully over we will be able do more and reach out to more community.

Prayer request

1.       Please pray for more people to help with the upcoming medical camps.

2.       Please pray for the people that come there to get help that they will also long to know the TRUTH.

3.       Pray for wisdom for the Medical team that they would be equipped to do the “Good Work” faithfully.
